Standing with Survivors:
Silver and Sage Supports RAINN This April

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), a time to raise awareness about the prevalence of sexual violence, honor survivors, and advocate for change. Here at Silver and Sage, we believe in creating a safe and supportive space for all. That's why, for the entire month of April, we'll be donating 5% of our profits to the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN), the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization.

RAINN plays a critical role in supporting survivors and preventing sexual assault. They offer a free and confidential hotline (available 24/7 at 800-656-HOPE) staffed by trained professionals who provide support and resources. RAINN also advocates for legislative change, educates communities, and helps to improve the criminal justice system's response to sexual violence.

Why We Support RAINN

Sexual assault is a devastating crime that affects millions of people every year. According to RAINN, nearly one in six women and one in four men have been sexually assaulted in their lifetime. These statistics are staggering, and they highlight the urgent need for support and resources.

By supporting RAINN, we can help to:

  • Provide hope and healing to survivors.
  • Prevent sexual violence from happening in the first place.
  • Hold perpetrators accountable.

How You Can Get Involved

In addition to shopping at Silver and Sage this April, there are many ways you can get involved with SAAM:

  • Educate yourself and others: Learn about the signs and symptoms of sexual assault, and how to support survivors.
  • Spread awareness: Share information about SAAM and RAINN on social media.
  • Donate to RAINN: Every dollar helps RAINN continue its vital work.
  • Volunteer your time: There are many ways to volunteer your time with local organizations that support survivors.

Together, we can make a difference. Let's create a world where sexual violence is not tolerated, and survivors are supported.
